Magical designs, great displays
Ccccc· Review provided by LEGO · February 12, 2024
I fell in love with both designs. I agree with some other reviewers that I was deterred from building the wolf first because of opening all the bags. I built my original set as the stag/deer and enjoyed the look of it so much I purchased a second copy (at a discount) to also build the wolf I wanted. The amount of movement you can position the stag into on the stand is incredible! The trade-off is that the wolf has far less moveability and the stag can barely stand when taken off the base. The wolf can stand/sit nicely when removed from the base. I did alter my bases slightly as my display direction is going to be different than the instructions and I enjoyed being creative with the water and foliage. These are two magical animal builds that make an excellent display!
Not surprised it’s retiring

It started off great! But was extremely difficult to build as ALLL the blocks are blue.

I hate to be “that person” but i am starting to lose my liking for Lego. I became extremely addicted to Lego during lockdown. And have spent more money than I care to admit on Lego.

Every year the sets seem to be getting more expensive and not as well thought out. I’ve seen people complain about the excessive amount of stickers - which truthfully I don’t mind. But I agree the price is extreme.

This set only took me 2 hours. I mean without sounding rude, it’s just plastic?? Why is it so expensive. I know obviously some goes to the designer and brand deals etc. but it’s ridiculous.

Not to mention the last few sets I’ve brought have all had at least 3 pieces missing.

I’m sorry Lego I think this is the end.
007 Fans - A Must Buy!

This was my first Speed Champions build. As a 007 fan who has seen each film at least three times, by the time I was finished building, it instantly became one of my top five sets! Firstly, the price is perfect for what you’re getting, like an exclusive Daniel Craig James Bond minifigure with all his facial features, plenty of printed pieces (even 1x1 flat plates), and shiny silver pieces of various sizes! Although there aren’t any play features to replicate the iconic Bond car’s gadgets, there are hidden Easter eggs like a lever to the right of Bond’s car seat to launch his nemesis out from the roof, the operation panel in the center console, hidden oil slick jets underneath the back of the car, and front/back license plates when you want to swap out for travel to England, France or Switzerland like in the film ‘Goldfinger’! There are stickers of course, to add some detail, so be patient and take your time applying them. If you choose not to apply the stickers of the other license plates, you have extra silver plates as well! This is a solid and wonderful build that any 007 fan would enjoy! I hope Lego makes more 007 cars!
Too much packaging

I love the way lego seperates and numbers the bags, it's very helpful to prevent too many parts on your counter. HOWEVER, the smaller bags inside the main bags makes no sense to me when you have to use all the parts together. Seems like a waste.

Also note, this one is a mess if you want to start with the wolf. Has you opening all the bags before you even finish the first one. Im using the builder app instead of the booklet. Booklet says to open all bags to start, where the app says open 1, use 3 parts open next 2... ect.

I would reccomended a large space if starting with the wolf instead of the stag.
