December 27, 2024It’s a good champions build but the price keeps climbing on these kits. Some have doubled in price in the last year. And if you want something a couple years old the price gets even higher. I don’t understand the high prices other than plain old fashion greed. Getting a youngster interested in legos is not an inexpensive hobby. A parent can’t afford to spend 50$ per kit. I’ve spent between 5-6k buying 126 kits. In the last year and looking ahead it’s not getting cheaper.!
So Cool! Just one or two strange choices....

August 29, 2022I was super excited to buy and build the Charger. On the pro's side, the building experience is awesome. As an experienced adult builder, it took enough time and effort to justify the price. I enjoyed building with mostly black bricks for a change and am happy to add those to my collection. Interior of the car has some simple but very appropriate detail. As with most Speed Champions sets, I particularly enjoyed the techniques used for the structural designs of the front and rear of the car...very nice! And the hub caps are very cool. There are a good amount of bricks left over after the build which always helps from a "bank for buck" side!
On the cons side, I would have definitely liked the big trunk piece to be connected with at least two more studs towards the back corners of the car. It doesn't sit flush enough. There is no reason the roof should not have been attached better, although the brick pattern looks very good. Lastly, with the fairly straight forward design of the side panels, perhaps doors that open were potentially obtainable?
All things being said, this was an epic little build, one I would recommend and buy again. Might do well as an investment. Thanks Lego!
Fun Build, Excellent Value

March 11, 2023A very fun build that does an excellent job of recreating Dom's Challenger. A large number of small parts could make for a challenging build for less dexterous fingers. Creative details give the small set a great appearance. Removable roof section is slightly fragile and not attached. Affects playability slightly but looks great as a display piece. Good value for the build experience.
[Rewarded Review] Always Good Fun!

November 9, 2022Legos are always entertaining and sometimes time challenging, but always good fun. This Lego 1970 Dodge Charger is 345 pieces and has an age of 8 and up. All the pieces were in the box. One of the great things about Lego is they always seem to making sure all the pieces are in the set. My ten year old son helped me put this together without any difficulty. We always arrange pieces by color, it makes it easier to put together. The directions and photos are easy to follow. We rarely have a problem. The finished result is one that you can be proud with. I highly recommend this Lego set. It was great fun to put together with my son. Great bonding time.
