Nice set, Bad packaging
AlhoEficiente054· Review provided by LEGO · April 4, 2024
My only complaint is that besides receiving a damage box (outer carton box had no issues, the set box had been damage prior to shipping), compensated by lego with insider points... yet again another frustrated experience! The lego instruction manual was folded/creased :(

It may seem nitpicky but when I buy a Lego I expect an excellent purchasing experience. A damaged box or a creased manual is not what I expect when I buy from Lego.

I truly believe Lego pays attention to how carefully you package your products. especially the more expensive sets. And I believe Lego is familiar with this problem, since all the expensive sets I bought had their instruction manuals contained inside cardboard envelope. This was not the case with Porsche 911 set 10295.
Too many missing parts
ComplexShawl089· Review provided by LEGO · March 4, 2023
Too many missing parts. It’s a fun item and I would love to do this with my son or my grandson again, but the fact that too many parts are missing, is absolutely ridiculous. In each and every bag there has been at least one or two missing parts. Several of which have been found in a different bag, but a young person shouldn’t be expected or possibly know to do this. Having to glue parts together in order for them to hold into place is ridiculous. If they’re going to recommend glue to hold the parts together then they should include it in the packaging .

Having missing parts prevents you from moving forward on the project. Certainly you can order them, but then what happens when you get those two pieces and you’re able to move forward on the project and then realize you need two more pieces? Exactly why every single part of the parts are listed in the back of the book….right next to a bold customer service number ….because they know there are parts missing ….and that’s ridiculous.
Excellent set let down by one tiny detail

I ordered this set with some Christmas money in December but it was on backorder.
It arrived yesterday and I built it over 2 sessions.

Firstly, the set is a very good representation of the 911, it very nearly captures all the lines of the iconic car, another major plus is that there are no stickers, everything is printed.
I know I'm not alone when I say that I HATE stickers!

The build itself is pretty straightforward, no real tricky parts, although there is a mistake in the instructions on page 195 in the placement of the printed window piece.

There are only 2 things that let this set down in my opinion, the first is the rear light cluster. It is mostly made up of solid colours rather than translucent pieces. I can forgive the centre part but the indicators really should be translucent and the solid orange really lets the set down.
The second is not specific to this set, more a general Creator Expert vehicle issue, there really needs to be some bigger wheels with lower profile tyres at this scale, especially for sports car sets.

That being said, I have nearly all of the Creator Expert vehicles and with the exception of Ecto1, I think this one may be my favourite.
Looks awesome

Amazing set. I have looked forward to it, from the moment it was announced and I am not disappointed. Building took one afternoon, but I didn't rush, since I am a porsche fan and wanted to enjoy it.

I like used building techniques, thanks to which the bricks facing to all directions and gives the car a complete look especialy on the underside of the bumpers and side skirts. It also allows to easily attach the fender trims. Rear axle can be easily taken out to be widen or narrowed according to a model being build, but still sits surely and tight. Nice touch is the loosely stored engine, which sits tight in his position.

Great looking is very small gap between the doors and the body of the car and the tight fit of the front wheels, which makes them look to have the propper size. The construction of the front axle and wheel arch allows the fender to be close around the wheel, which can turn without touching it. Nice!

There are two features which I noticed and want to mension. I don’t know if they were intended or are just byeffect of a technical solution.

1. Doors lightly scrub in the certain possition when they being closed, this feels just like when close the lock on the real car.

2. Rear hatch, when pushed a little from its open position, it has the right friction to slowly close itself by its own weight, and then when it is pressed towards the car, it cliks like it locks.

The overal look of the car is simply stunning. The angles of the front lights, flowing stern, bumpers, rear spoiler, the silhouette of the car is just perfect. The bricks are printed, no stickers, which just underlines the clean look of the model.

I don't know what to rebuke. It is so great that I would like to have three of them so I can build the turbo, targa and the turbo targa and put them along side.

Great work!

Maybe ... it should be available in black as well...
