Pros: complete set as in 2 cars, accessories, Minifigures and instructions all there. Generally good value for money. Cons: Multiple parts and 3 stickers missing. Photo of assembly with missing stickers taken in low light so it was hard to distinguish the missing parts.

Sadly, my favourite part of this kit is actually the lighting rig. I spent a good 20 minutes playing with it when it was built. The functionality of it is great and was a nice touch to this kit and could easily be used with any race car sets.

The look of the cars is okay, they remind me a little bit of the 1970s blockier Lego figures. However, you have the option to make the black car supercharged and have the cooler unit poking out of the bonnet. This is the option I went with as I prefer it over the flat bonnet look.

Both cars sit one minifigure and you get a third one in the kit that acts as the race starter. Again you get a spanner for one of the figures to hold which also doubles as a tyre remover. Yes, I do overly love that feature.

Overall this is a great looking set when built and the cars are definitely sturdy enough to play with (I know, the husband and I have both had a little tabletop play with them).
Awesome!!!

The Dodge Challenger has been my favorite car for nearly a decade. Although yet to own one, as a car buff and LEGO fan since birth, I have always hoped that LEGO would create a brick version of the iconic muscle car... and here it is in this set!! And not only does it include Dodge's downright crazy 840 HP Challenger SRT Demon, but also includes a blacked out 69' Charger R/T with red highlights (good color combo)! Both are AWESOME cars in real life and now are AWESOME LEGO sets (See bottom for Pros/Cons)

I really like LEGO car sets. I recently bought the James Bond 007 Aston Martin DB5 LEGO Creator set. I've also gotten the Creator Ferrari F40 and a number of previous Speed Champion sets. They are all some of my favorite sets I've bought. They're all super fun to build and are crazy realistic...So is this set. I recommend all of the LEGO car sets, you can't go wrong!

The Speed Champion theme is, in my opinion, one of the best LEGO has created . Combining easy-to-build sets with realism and fun, LEGO has struck gold here. This set adds to Speed Champion's success . Two great cars, a functional drag racing "Christmas tree", and three minifigs (two with Dodge branding), all for $30!

I would absolutely recommend this set to anyone interested in cars, or even just interested in fun and easy-to-build sets. This season's Speed Champion sets are great and I will certainly be buying several other ones (McLaren Senna and Ferarri F40)! Hoping for more Speed Champion sets like this in the future... A+, LEGO!

PROS:

-Inexpensive ($30)

-Easy-to-build

-Highly detailed

-3 minifigs

Cons:

-None! Definitely buy this one!!

FINALLY there is a REAL muscle car in the speed champion line! I have waited SO long for these two cars to appear in lego form in any way. this set is just WAY too cool. since I was a toddler I have been a fan of classic cars and for about five years a diehard mopar fan. these two cars are my all time favorites and I am extremely pleased that lego has finally made them. this set makes me think of warm summer nights, coca cola, pretty girls, and hanging out with friends. as soon as I realized that dodge was making a 840 horse challenger, I was STOKED! I started collecting any magazine that featured this car and now the covers are displayed on my wall. these two cars make an awesome addition to my mopar collection. the colors are great, and lego did a surprisingly good job capturing the look of these cars. good job lego, you just got yourself another fan of the speed champions sets. thumbs up if you want the lord of the rings sets to be released again. LONG LIVE MOPAR!!
